In Concert - September 13, 2007

When AVE director Ken Burton studied music, he intended to do one thing: music. Most of his colleagues went into the music business in some shape or form, however some became estate agents, stock brokers, and in the case of one, and possibly more, a vicar.

Vicar James Revely ministers in the Hertfordshire district of Boxmoor. AVE is pleased to be presenting a concert at his church on November 25th. A rare opportunity to see and hear the ensemble live.

NEW ALBUM - July 9, 2007

AVE has released 'AVE' , its debut album. With Guildhall Strings, and expert sax and oboe work from Martin Harman, dramatic soprano Antonia Francis, and quartet Tessera, songs old and new, a cappella and accompanied stand side by side in this fifteen song album. The songs were really decided by the public, as they are the ones which have received the largest responses of the various broadcasts in which AVE has been involved.
Songs include: Mary Did You Know, Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace, Were You There, Jesus Shall Reign and O Thou Who Camest. Recorded in some of London's top studios, this album is sure to be most satisfying to the ears.
